I enjoyed even small changes: For example, you can quit your job instead of being fired, and you can move. I was frustrated, though, because even though the instruction manual tells exactly how to make a basement, it didn't show how I could get into the basement! I am still trying to figure that out. One of the fun things you can create is a basement to fill with Egyptian treasures. You can also earn Visas when you travel that can earn you longer trips and a vacation home. And you aren't just wandering aimlessly you can be assigned things to do. Some, however, are hard to explore, with lots of secret passages and hidden doors. I liked that all the tombs and pyramids were based on real-life objects-the Great Pyramid, The Great Sphinx, The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut-and you can go inside them. You have to start by living in the U.S., but furniture for the house comes from the three other places you can travel to. Once I was done making my family, I chose my house.
